The first time I heard the words: african safari travel ; it made think of dollars and expenses. I know one day I will come to the point of really going there and enjoying it. That day has indeed come.

As I close my eyes the expectations images of hippos, lions, cheetahs, zebra and giraffes sprang up. Yes when I step on this land these animals greeted me with curiosity perhaps a shiver too. But what I never expected was the serenity and the beautiful landscape in some parts of the south Africa.

My travel may not be considered as top african vacations but indeed it was the best view I had made for Africa. The impressions imprinted in me have been carved deep and I just got jelly in Africa’s beautiful bounty.

Hluhluwe Umfolozi National Park is a huge and beautiful park with rolling hills bulleted with acacia bush. In this park I met the white and black rhino. It has a wide collection of the endangered rhino specie and the largest number of rhino in the whole world is here. Rhinos are not the only resident here but also the other famous members of the big five namely the lion, buffalo, elephant, and leopards. The rest of the african safari animals like giraffe, zebra, wildebeest and waterbuck can also be seen here.

I had a great with this game reserve for this is my first time experience and close encounter with the wilds. Imagine seeing an animal blocking your transportation? My heart bit stop for a moment and I did not even blink an eye for I am afraid that I might miss something.

Another close encounter that I will never do again is when we come across an elephant right on our path. Our guide is quick enough to instruct us to stay put and not move for the elephant might charge. Five minutes is just a very short time but I thought it was forever.

Our next step is the Drankensberg Mountains and it would be another story to tell.

What is your first impression of luxury south African safaris? What do you expect to see and experience in this kind of Africa Safari? Most importantly, what do you expect to eat for dinner right after your day adventures in this country?

Food. That I would like to emphasize. I was preparing for an Africa Safari and just browsing and surfing in the net when I stumbled upon this article which talks about eating kudu, springbok and impala meat.

I wonder what would my friend Angel would say about this new development (new in ears but I guess this kind of trade is an old practice in Africa) about Safaris Gourmet. I could not but wait to really see the expression of her face as soon as she would be served with venison meat with sauteed sauce and vegetables.

Yes, they call it at first as Bambi experience when you would like to see eye to eye the kin of Bambi the cartoon character. But it was kind of new and unique when the Bambi that you most loved and cared for is served to you for dinner. This you can taste it during your African safari south Africa.

South African restaurants and establishment has venison and other meat high non its menu. Well, Ostrich meat is nothing new and I could have savor it with tender bites but the cousins of Bambi being serve is something new to me.

Impala, kudu and springbok animals are also new to my sense. In fact I kind of knew them from the encyclopedia I bought for the kids and I kind of doubt it if I can swallow a mouthful if it is being serve for dinner.

Though, a friend who has tried the african safari gourmets says that these meat being served are tasteful and are edible and that is according to him. They had tried it when they had traveled to south Africa game reserve.

How about you will you taste venison meat- a gourmet delight in african safaris?

Your life is mere existence in a traffic filled jam city. Everything you see is always the newest and latest technology and you are now over fatigue and feels like inside a box. Why wait for more when you can drop the humdrum existence and go for a more greener and peaceful life even for a while in a best African safari tours. Touch base with nature again to remind the subconscious that there is life besides the busy humdrum in the city that has the heaviest traffic jam. We got Africa cover here. That makes life easier to bear and why not when all around the continent you will see if not nature then the breathing flora and fauna in the country.

If ever thinking of hitting Africa, why not see what is in store for you in Masai Mara. It is the continuation game reserve of Serengeti National Park Game, the most popular in Tanzania and has the most diverse collection of wild life.

Why go to such extent as Africa if you wanted to unwind and get back to nature? Why go to Africa if you wanted just to heal the bored and tired spirit in you?

For African Safari tours has the most basic element of meeting with nature. Meeting the most raw of nature reminds us of the value of our existence. The wide expanse of horizontal scenery that seems to be endless gives you time to ponder on your goal in your life. It touches the deepest and most basic human nature that we tend to forget as we compete and get our ambitions.

Accommodation in these parts of the world is never an issue anymore. Luxury safari lodges are proliferating like mushrooms and you can take your pick. Even if you do not go for the hunting of wild animals; Africa’s scenery is more than enough for you to take a break.

The Oscars 82nd Annual Academy Awards which was held at Hollywood and Highland Center in the state of California. Over 200 countries will definitely wait in anticipation for their favorite bet to win or lose.

But who would mind losing the most craved for Oscar statuettes if they will have the chance to go for an luxury african safari. Yes so our resources says that nominees will certainly go home with a luxurious goody bag worth 61,000 pounds and included in such luxurious take home gift is crystal-bulleted cat dollar and african safari tickets.

The bosses of the 82nd Annual Academy Awards really wrapped up something elegant for the nominees this year to the surprise and delight of the nominees. Apparently, most nominees only enjoy a certain super kind of luxury through an invitation in gifting suites which they can take a pick and choice through laden luxurious items in exchange of posing for a photograph fro the promotion of the picked product.

But this time it has an included safari trip. Why not gloat over an african safari trip when it can mean so many things and it painted several beautiful pictures of such a travel.

I wonder which of the finest destination will the nominees choose. Africa has Tanzania, Botswana, Namibia, South Africa and Kenya to mention a few.

If they will grab such gift of pleasure Africa will warmly embrace them with pleasure. Luxurious african safari is the best options for this kind of travel.

The guests will experience seeing the Big Five though the difference is that the guest will go home to a well made room and accommodation. They are air conditioned and does not have to rough it out. So no insect and the wild animals concerns of sleeping just a breath away from you. Oscars african safari is now a great controversy but this only shows that safaris and indeed gallant gifts even to the stars.

Professional photographers who went to Africa to catch moments and pictures of African safari animals come back with all the glory. But it does not mean that only the professional got really good pictures. Even the neophytes and the mere travelers also come back with good pictures to hover upon and talk about.

The African country is lucky enough to garner the highest number of animals species in the whole world specifically the southern part of the continent. South Africa has 50 lizard and snakes species, more than 800 species, 150 species of mammals. The animals that you will meet in an african safaris are so many and varied.

So let us list the the animals that capture the interest of the majority and the hearts of the many.

- Elephants are sign of abundance. In fact it is carved in a wood and given to friends and guests as a sign of abundance. Elephants are interesting animals; they can be tamed and wild at the same time.
- Hippopotamus makes me laugh. Their features make me laugh and wonder of the Creators creativity. They are semi aquatic animals. Now perhaps due to its size they prefer the help of water’s buoyancy to make them move faster. It explains it choice of habitat.
- Rhinocerous
- Buffaloes are dangerous and beautiful at the same time. They are handled with care for they very unpredictable and can not be trusted. Stories about the intelligence and the heroic act of buffaloes are famous in the hunters camp.
- Jackass Penguin is an endemic flightless bird found in the sountern part of Africa. They are agile and good swimmers thus they are referred to as underwater flying creatures. For they fly underwater, they swim fast and gracefully.
- Apes are the closest cousins of the human beings. They are intelligent and territorial animals and only a few hundreds are left due to massive hunting and poaching. They are already protected by laws.

What makes Africa a world sought destination and african tours and safaris so in demand and so expensive? Going to Africa means shelling off several thousands to enjoy the best there is inn the travel industry. But I did not come to Africa to shell off several thousands but to help build classrooms and houses for a certain village. Whoa I never expected to be offered the best but the best in the travel industry is being offered in a silver free platter.

I started at Tanzania and was building homes together with the locals. Though I am a blue eyed white skinned human being, the locals accepted me with open arms and such tenderness that made me feel at home. Both the locals and I do no have the extra dollars to spend to enter game reserves in Tanzania. Africa safari tours are expensive you know.

But the locals are generous a pack and offered to take me to their home-made safari. Which made me wonder what the would-be safari consist of? Then the whole group went to pack for our lunches and leave the children to the care of their mothers. Well, the men took then luxury to tour their white guests.

I am an architecture and an engineer graduate and is helping the locals build their homes. They were so delighted with the result that they returned the favor by giving me a tour of the country. the trip was mad with no frills and thus so it is plainly beautiful.

Since we have no money to enter expensive game reserve we decided to just take a trip on the boundaries of these game reserves and see the animals for free. On our first day we were so lucky to come face to face with a giraffe who took all the luxury to bow down and take the leaf from my hand.

African Safari Tanzania is indeed a memorable experience. Every trip to the boundaries of this reserve means a glimpse of the animals.

Are you contemplating of booking an african safari travel? But make sure that you have clear expectations in your trip so that you can gear toward that goal.

Are you contemplating of booking an african safari travel? But make sure that you have clear expectations in your trip so that you can gear toward that goal. Do you expect to go home to a luxury accommodation after the trip or do you expect to camp in the wilds after a day of hunting down wild and rare species of animals? Listing down your expectations and the things you want to do really makes it a difference.

Before you decide make sure that you are aware of the necessary facts. If you want to camp out in the wild and perhaps stare eye to eye with a hyena or lion while you are in the safety of your camp then better choose a camping african safari. But… of course there are some really significant sacrifices to make. If you camp out how do you answer to the call of nature? Did this thought ever cross you mind? These trips are not considered cheap safari trips for they are costly.

My second though is: so if you do not want to sacrifice some basic necessity then you go home to a prepared accommodation after your hunting and getting in touch with the nature trip. This also means that you prefer to stay in one game reserve and not explore the whole of africa.

Exploring the whole of Africa means seeing rare animals and rare species of animals in the whole continent. You can actually travel using your safari transportation and jump from location to another location with hundreds of miles of difference. The thrill is here. This is the most basic and interesting adventure.

Your guides will be your protector and you and your team will become part of the wild that could be a cheap safari trips. Wild animals abound in the area and thus your safety is your and your guide’s responsibility. But the intense sounds of the animals in the wild tell stories that attract humans. For those who can not understand may fear the sounds but those who knew its meaning rely on it for safety and protection. The loud cahoots of the night birds and howling of the pack of wolves could make you shiver the first time you hear them. The raw adventure is in the wild and it is up to you to make decisions and sacrifices.
