There are so many famous destinations in South Africa. In fact many of the best are in this part of the continent. We will tackle them later in the article. But for now let me share a paradise that has caught my heart. A paradise that I never knew existed- Rocktail Bay. It was a conservation partnership by the local communities, authorities and Wilderness Safaris.

At first I was hesitant because the surrounding dry land does not give an inkling of the underwater beauty. I was already used in seeing beautiful fishes and biomes but Rocktail Bay took my heart away. Tours South Africa does not end in the land safaris and you see the african animals like the big five. If you go deeper literally in the ocean, there you will see another world and another level of African safari.

The lush sanctuary of the Rocktail Bay Camp is Maputaland Coastal Forest. After a few months of preparation and talking to our agency and all the necessary things to do. W all flew off to this place called paradise- Namibia. Let me tell you about the Skeleton Coast National Park in Namibia. It was a good side trip for our african luxury destinations. The place draw to the tourist is its almost dangerous heaven like beauty. If you are alone in the area you fill as if there is no more besides the very soil you stand on. The countless ship wreck is a proof of the hundreds of story of nature versus man and of course nature has always won. The beach is a colorful collection of stones and granites, agates and lava.

One african vacation spot that I dreamed of building a few cottages so that people can enjoy it but the fact that the geology of the place made it so impossible for one man to do it. Sand dunes abound in the area and are dangerous to both man and beast.

• Kruger National Park is the number one list of any South Africa tour. In fact, due to its demand the guest and drive tours are monitored in this park and the accommodation grows elegantly as well with the tourism industry. So every traveler who want to experience the pulsating and exciting reality of a jungle life do not have to sacrifice comfort. The Kruger National Park is not without any fabulous African safaris side activities. If you do not consider Elephant back ride as fabulous then you will speaking of other activities in the park which includes Cheetah Breeding Project, Endangered Species watching, hot air balloon trips, flower watching and photography, bird, mammals, reptiles and the rest of the flora and fauna watching and hunting.

• Sabi Sands Game Reserve is the queen of all bush south African safaris; for luxury and comfort is it forte. After an exciting after dusk game drive then a gastronomic feast follows with the Africa Nouveau cuisine. Or perhaps you would like to relax with the evening air that softly whispers on your ear as the food is being served on the table with the bright shining start twinkling its approval. Nightlife activities and wildlife sightseeing is present in this game reserve.

Two of Africa’s best are just being mentioned. Each stands on its own beauty. The bounty that it has offered to the guests and locals is immense, beautiful and existing.

• Uganda is Africa’s pearl that is according to the description of Winston Churchill. A worldwide known fact that Uganda is the hub of the gorillas in Africa. If you want to visit the mountain you got to spend an average of 500 US dollars for a protected and well serviced view of the mountain gorillas. Yet, the mountain gorillas is not the only attraction in Uganda. You may also want to visit Murchison Falls, or perhaps frolic on the river Nile; if not pay a visit in Lake Mburo National park. Kampala is also a good place to gallivant for it has a fusion of green scenery and modern metropolis. The queen Elizabeth National park is one very good park to visit. It actually lies along the equator thus I imagine touching the imaginary line of the equator as I step on this park.

• Namibia is the home of diversity of animals and the home of 26 reserves and parks. Perhaps a month of stay is not enough already if you want to experience all of the fun you can experience in these reserves. Will you stay one reserve or park is already enough? Or can represent all the other parks? We know it will not. Africa safari will never be a one day experience.

Most safaris to Africa really had a very personal encounter with the wildlife from monkey to elephants and buffaloes. Usually the lodge location is already in the middle of the woods that encourage the wild life to pass by your thatched hat or lodge.

I would say that I love monkeys and all of its kind yet I would never thought that I would be scared out of my wits when I first saw a real one outside the zoo’s fence our africa safari. We were warned by our guides that monkeys roam around the vicinity like a real pro and we got to be careful with our things and got to close the doors and windows. Yet, as I opened the lodge’s door and got to face a monkey reaching out to the doors knob I almost shook down the lodge by my loud scream. I could not imagine seeing monkeys as I open my doors.

Lucky enough our lodge has fence that stopped wild animals like lions to come any closer. As we were preparing though for our dinner; leopard simply and gracefully walk by with no care in the world and that stop as from what we were doing.

Hey we thought we haven’t started yet our safaris in africa and all these animals are flirting with us! And we haven’t prepared our cameras yet! Well, life in africa safari seems to be starting as soon as you stepped down form the plane. So better be vigilant from the minute you got out of the plane and you will surely get a glimpse pf all these animals without hunting them down.

The Kruger Park is one of the most famous parks in South Africa and the surroundings that it has allures thousands of safari adventurers the whole year round. Kruger National Park was instituted in 1898. Here you can see various animals roaming around freely. What makes this area notable since it is a Big 5 country; during your stay here you will find various big 5 animals like the Cape, Elephant, Rhino, Lion, buffalo and Leopard.

If you’re done touring around the Kruger National Park heading to Cape Town is a great idea. There is so much to see and discover within this place. And there are various activities that you should not miss here. Don’t forget to watch the sunset while you were in the yacht. This is a great opportunity that you should miss while you were in Cape Town. Another thing that you should also try while you were in your safari vacations is to wander within the Canal Walk at Century City. This would be for a unique shopping experience. After shopping dropping at Ratanga Junction a thrilling theme park in Cape Town would also fascinate you.

If you are looking for the Garden of Eden in which you can see varieties of African animals such as hyena, buffalo, rhinoceros, bull elephants, flamingos, jackals and a lot more for african safari photos. Maasai Mara is the starting point of wide Serengeti grasslands which is home to wildebeest, Nile crocodiles, hippos, Colobus Monkey. Krueger National Park and Gemsbrook National Park are the gems of South Africa besides Victoria Falls and Cape Town.

Yes, African Safaris are expensive but try to visit the country during their off season to get a much cheaper price. Another kind of cheap accommodation in African safari country is to book a tent or a lodge.

A trip to African Safari does not mean a perfect sunshine but I am glad to say that when I did, the sun indeed smiles upon our itineraries. As we unzipped our tent an array of animals greeted us in this early morning.

We will be doing a ‘not so early tour’ (granting that 5 a.m. is the earliest) around 6 in the morning right after we had a little morning cup of brewed coffee. The vicinity tour indeed unwrap so many sightseeing surprises for us. Though we did not really see a lion or leopard I the vicinity which would make me worry if I did; we saw a lot of gentle kind of animals like a giraffe, ostrich and zebra on different very wonderful poise.
