Family vacations are more likely to be not this exotic and not as adventurous as this African Safari vacation, yet this has become one of the family destinations these days. This is a different thing that you can do with your family, making a bonding together that is very different from the usually family vacations. This isn’t the beach vacation or the parks vacation; this is the African Safari vacation in the wilderness.
This is a unique vacation for the family; you will be able to do a four wheel drive across the Sahara Desert, along Botswana. You will be spending the evening driving through the landscape looking for wildlife or enjoying a campfire at the wilderness. Though there are lodges that re malaria free and are ideal for family. It is mostly located at the center of the game reserves where you will be with the animals and its natural habitats.
It is recommended to have your family vacation on the break between Christmas and New Year, an ideal time to see the wildlife in its habitat. Yet this has become popular and you may need to book ahead of time perhaps six months in advance. Once you and your family will be having this kind of vacation, there will be a tour guide or called as a game ranger. And there is also a private safari vehicle that you can rent exclusively for your family; at some lodges there are also pools and meals usually served in the covered veranda overlooking the landscape or in the dining room. And before booking for a vacation, make sure to check on the lodges and tour agencies on the minimum age they have for children.
