Africa interests not only the globe trotter but also the writers. The first time I heard of an African Travel diary I could not grasp the totality of it. I mean what is so significant about it. When I saw a page of David G. Derrick Jr.’s African Travel diary and the sketches that he made of the animals and the trip he made in Africa particularly in Kenya and Nairobi; I got interested on it and the travel trail one person made to make the diary.
In exploring the African continent; there are choices you can make on the mode of journey you want. Depending on WHAT you would like to see and do in your African Safari experience.
If you would like to cross country to cover a larger area for exploration then better take a mobile safari. You can go around Lake Victoria which is shared by Kenya and Tanzania. Kenya is most famous for Maasai Mara and Uganda or Rwanda. These two are more than enough to stay for a fortnight. If two weeks is too much for a Kenya then perhaps you can head off directly to Tanzania after a night of Bush dining. African safari cheap accommodation scattered all over these two countries. You can even bring your own tent and lease a safe ground to stay for a night. This option is the cheapest among them all.
But you can also enjoy an African Safari on a walking tour. Just make sure that you hire the best guide. Or the guide you hire is recommended by a trusted friend. A guide is very crucial for your safari adventure. A very smart and experienced guide will lead you to the most secret place to watch for an animal to or a scenic location to photograph.
Then every moment is written on a journal or better yet on a blog to share to everyone, one great experience. Which country between Kenya and Tanzania do you think would make the most interesting and mind exploding safari experience?
