Aside from bird watching, lions and tigers roaming around, hippopotamus and more one thing that you should also see in your Africa safari adventure is witnessing the endangered gorillas. Though it sounds weird and kind of dangerous but seeing gorillas in Africa is worth the effort. Allowing yourself to see gorillas would make you realize how their existence gives significance to the world.
In Bwindi Jungles of Africa you could meet some of the beautiful gorillas that you have not seen before in your entire life. It has been said that you could see here half the population of the world live the endangered mountain gorillas. It is a self-fulfilling emotion to see even one of these endangered species. This primeval forest is appointed as one of the most biologically various areas on earth. Since it has a unique eco-system it is appointed as the World Heritage Site. The floor of the forest is covered with leaf mould, fallen vines and vegetation. Though the trails are quite slippery, through it you could feel the true essence of adventure. It is not really difficult to explore the forest because there will be tour guides that would assist you.
During your gorilla visit you are advice to look down and remain in your place if the big silverback will charge at you. You should make sure that you will be in a submissive pose to avoid risk. Following this advice would make your gorilla sightseeing incredible. Each of the tourist group is only allowed to see the gorillas for an hour. But aside from gorillas, you can also witness here other animals like black and white colobus, chimpanzees, grey-cheeked mangabey and more. But before visiting the mountain, you should have to plan it ahead of time so that you will know what the things to do and the necessary things to bring with you.
