I’m impressed that you really like the idea of Zimbabwe – it is indeed a beautiful country with friendly people.

But be warned: it is in a total and utter state of collapse. There is no economy to speak of. You won’t be able to find fuel for your vehicle. You might not even be able to find bread to eat. You have to exchange your currency on the black market to get a fair rate.

The wildlife in Zimbabwe is declining because the people are forced to hunt for meat.

I found the Zimbabwe ruins magnificent, and Victorial falls is just something unbelievable, but if you want to experience wildlife, it would be better to go to South Africa.

You could still have the best of both worlds – you could use South Africa as a base, do all your safaris there, and charter a trip to Victoria falls from, say, Johannesburg (prices on this are very reasonable).

BTW – Victoria falls is also in Zambia – they’re that big!!!

Most of the world knows Zimbabwe as a fighting Nation who’s ECONOMY is the worst in the whole world.
Atleast you have given it another image which many don’t know about???

Obviously it’s bordered by its neighbouring countries. It’s also bordered with South Africa and Vic falls can be seen from Zambia aswell.
