A step away from heaven!
This crater was formed when the supposedly highest mountain in Africa two million years ago erupted and splashed Serengeti with ashes. Now it is a home of thousands diverse animal. The predators and prey gather here to seek refuge from the harsh realities of existence here on earth.
Ngorongoro Crater is splendid in its destruction that happened centuries ago. It is the largest unbroken volcanic caldera- that alone leave human in awe with the splendor after such terror.
Ngorongoro Crater is so diverse in its beauty that it boasts different biomes that are a home of thousands of living organism from the planktons to the largest beast on land. Different animals from the predators like the hyenas, leopards, lions, cheetahs, and more ‘unnamed animals’ strutted the plains as if they are on feast. Rare animals such as the black rhino also found a home in this large crater.
The orange-colored flamingo also frequented this place. A good place to take good shots; as these birds flew with wild abandonment and freedom, they found home in Ngorongoro Crater so do with the other creatures.
