The best place to view various gorillas in Africa would be at the Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. This park is known in the region as the sanctuary of many gorillas, that is why it is appointed as the leading gorilla safari destinations particularly in East Africa. The park is mainly located in the south western of Uganda; this part of Africa is the house of about 700 species of extinct mountain gorilla. There are two kinds of groups in Mountain Gorillas and these are the Habiyania group which have 23 gorillas and the Mubare group which have 16 gorillas. On the other hand the half of the gorillas could be found in the Rwanda’s Virunga National Park.
This incredible national park was once been a reserve during 1942 and eventually been upgraded as a genuine National Park in 1992.
