Gourmet Delight in African Safaris

What is your first impression of luxury south African safaris? What do you expect to see and experience in this kind of Africa Safari? Most importantly, what do you expect to eat for dinner right after your day adventures in this country?
Food. That I would like to emphasize. I was preparing for an Africa Safari and just browsing and surfing in the net when I stumbled upon this article which talks about eating kudu, springbok and impala meat.
I wonder what would my friend Angel would say about this new development (new in ears but I guess this kind of trade is an old practice in Africa) about Safaris Gourmet. I could not but wait to really see the expression of her face as soon as she would be served with venison meat with sauteed sauce and vegetables.
Yes, they call it at first as Bambi experience when you would like to see eye to eye the kin of Bambi the cartoon character. But it was kind of new and unique when the Bambi that you most loved and cared for is served to you for dinner. This you can taste it during your African safari south Africa.
South African restaurants and establishment has venison and other meat high non its menu. Well, Ostrich meat is nothing new and I could have savor it with tender bites but the cousins of Bambi being serve is something new to me.
Impala, kudu and springbok animals are also new to my sense. In fact I kind of knew them from the encyclopedia I bought for the kids and I kind of doubt it if I can swallow a mouthful if it is being serve for dinner.
Though, a friend who has tried the african safari gourmets says that these meat being served are tasteful and are edible and that is according to him. They had tried it when they had traveled to south Africa game reserve.
